Can be connected to 12V battery with the clips or connected to the car with the cigarette lighter connector; Working Principle: Within minutes, microscopic creatures called zooplankton begin to home in on the green light source, very much the way insects are drawn to outdoor lighting. Small fish soon follow, attracted by the zooplankton. Each link in the food chain is followed by the next, over minutes and hours. The water around the light will actually become foggy with the swirling masses of copepods, small shrimp, and other microorganisms. Large baitfish schools (species dependent on location) will actually learn the location of the light and show up night after night to feed. This behavior is mimicked by predator fish who soon learn that easy meals can be found in the shadows surrounding the glow. Within a few weeks, your dock will be a regular feeding station for the local fish populations. All this unfolds right before your eyes, and from the comfort of your own home. Watch as predatory fish slash their way through schools of baitfish, or suck shrimp from the surface right in front of you.

Excellent quality fishing light. Sealed very tight, no worries of leaking water inside. Excellent quality fishing light. Sealed very tight, no worries of leaking water inside. Lights are very bright, and it really works. Caught a lot of fish with this light. Best buy ever.I use this long one on the boat and the short one (8″) on the shore. Both of them works really well. The green color of this light is better than any other colors from my and my friends’ experiences. They really attract lots of small fishes.

I went to Lake Ouachita to test this awesome fishing light Well, I went to Lake Ouachita to test this awesome fishing light, but the lake wind advisory kept me off the water. However, I have tested this light at home and am extremely impressed with its brightness. I hooked it up to the boat battery outdoors during daylight hours and the brightness of the fishing light overpowered the natural light around it. It comes with two spring-loaded clamps that are easy to attach to your marine battery and the cord is long enough that you can lower the light down to a depth of over 15 feet. I can’t wait to see it in action the next time I hit the lake! It is well worth the money.

Bad connections Item glowed very bright and worked well however the battery connections began to fail quickly (after 3 uses both battery clips ripped off the wires). I believe the length could be longer as well but that is not as much of an issue to me as having to constantly tamper with the negative and positive connections.
